'Updated Long-Term Projections for Social Security' from the Congressional Budget Office

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) in January updated its June 2004 report on the financial future of Social Security. The update contains only minor revisions and the program is still projected to be able to pay full benefits through 2052, 10 years longer than is projected by Social Security trustees.

The report is available on the CBO Web site.
